Bees are carrying the pollen from the male flowers and keep returning to the female flower!
Here's a great shot of the bees doing their job! Get in there bees!
This summer is going to be awesome for growing vegatables and other random stuff in your garden. Well I'm just starting out with this so..... I thought I'd blog it and learn from my mistakes for next year. "this year I will mostly be growing..... PUMPKINS' oooaaarrrrrrr! (Seeds saved from last years massive american connecticut field pumpkin from my local american airbase! Oo'rah!)

The girls are out!
Well, Just walked out in the garden this morining to see lots of flies and bugs flying around my female flower bud! There are a few other small female flowers budding but the largest one on vine one has opened up.
I might hand pollenate just to be sure and get it going!
The vines are getting longer too! In 2 to 3 weeks they have grown about 5 feet!
Some plants at the back have wilted and gone sloppy but at least I've got one area that is now guaranteed..... (Fingers crossed!)

Hopefully the fenceline vines will start to catch up.
Pollenation in progress...
